Stacey Marcell, Owner and Lead Licensed Arborist
Stacey Marcell, the owner of Northeast Horticultural Services, has a deep passion for the environment and a commitment to cultivating healthy, beautiful, and sustainable landscapes. Her love for nature inspired her to create Northeast Horticultural Services, where she strives to educate others on being responsible stewards of the earth. Stacey values forming lasting relationships with her clients, allowing her to see the landscapes she nurtures grow to their full potential.
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed arborist in Connecticut and a degree in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Stacey brings a wealth of expertise to her work. In 2014, she earned her Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP) certification from the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), which allows her to foster a culture of safety within her team. She further expanded her qualifications in 2020 by obtaining the International Society of Arboriculture Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
Stacey’s unique blend of scientific knowledge and artistic vision enables her to approach tree care and property maintenance with a holistic perspective. She combines conservation-minded planning with in- depth consultations to create stunning landscapes for both residential and commercial clients. For over 20 years, Stacey has been dedicated to enhancing the beauty of properties in Fairfield County, Connecticut, through her profound expertise and unwavering commitment to quality.
Josh Jimenez, Project Manager / Landscape Designer
Josh’s journey into the world of horticulture began at the age of 15, working in his parents’ garden center. What started as watering plants in the greenhouse soon blossomed into a deep-rooted passion for all things green. Over the years, Josh took on increasingly complex responsibilities, from outdoor plant care and maintenance to mastering plant design and leading large-scale residential and commercial projects.
With 35 years of horticultural experience, Josh brings a profound understanding of the industry to Northeast Horticultural. His expertise spans every aspect of landscape management, and he is dedicated to ensuring that each customer’s vision is realized with precision and care. Whether it’s planning, budgeting, or bringing a landscape design to life, Josh is committed to delivering exceptional results and highly satisfied clients.
Dan Dalton, Arborist
Dan brings a wealth of experience to his position as Arborist at Northeast Horticultural Services. He is a Board Certified Master Arborist and Connecticut licensed Arborist. Dan has a degree in Resource Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is also an adjunct professor in the Horticulture department at CT State Community College, Naugatuck Campus. In 2022, Dan received the Excellence in Arboriculture award from the Connecticut Tree Protective Association.
Dan lives in Sandy Hook with his wife Anne and dog Tilly. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, music, and volunteering.
Cedi Frazier, Plant Health Care Technician
With over six years of experience at Northeast Horticultural Services, Cedi brings both expertise and heartfelt passion to her role as a Plant Health Care Technician. Her love for the natural world began early—at just seven years old—when she became fascinated by the vibrant colors and unique forms of life in the ecosystem. Whether she was catching ants, butterflies, or salamanders, young Cedi approached each discovery with the excitement of winning the lottery. That childhood curiosity has since grown into a lifelong commitment to plant health and environmental care.
Outside of her work in the field, Cedi is a creative force. An artistic roller skater specializing in JB skating, she finds freedom and inspiration on wheels. She also enjoys exploring other skate styles and learning from different skate cultures. When she’s not skating, Cedi stays grounded through painting, crocheting, DIY projects, and nail art. A self-described multi-talented maker, she’s always looking for new ways to express herself and stay connected to the world around her.
Mandy Darch, Office Manager
Mandy brings a wealth of experience in landscape, snow removal, and construction business management to our team. Her strong background in customer service, industry knowledge, and software skills make her a key player in advancing our green initiatives. Mandy’s
enthusiasm for educating others about plant health care and horticulture reflects her passion for growth and innovation. Her dedication to providing top-notch customer service is evident in her commitment to giving every client the exceptional care that Northeast Horticultural is known for. She genuinely cares about helping clients in any way she can, perfectly aligning with our company’s commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, Mandy cherishes spending time with her loved ones and her furry friend, Bellatrix. She’s an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking, bringing her adventurous spirit and zest for life into everything she does, both personally and professionally.
